How contributions work
Every bag inventory on Brick Bag Inventory is built by following the official LEGO instructions step by step. Our system tracks which parts appear at each step and assigns them to the correct numbered bag.
While much of the heavy lifting is automated, every inventory is verified by real contributors before it goes live. This human review ensures accuracy and catches edge cases that automation might miss.
Brick Bag Inventory is free and ad-free, but the site still costs money to run, and putting together each bag inventory takes a lot of time and care. That's why we rely on the community. If our tool helped you, spending a few minutes a day on these tasks lets us keep publishing new sets.
Everyone can contribute
You don't need to be a LEGO expert or commit hours of your time. Contributing is as simple as looking at a photo and identifying a part.
It only takes a few seconds
When you identify a part, you're helping us assign it to the right bag. Even identifying a single part is already helpful. Every contribution adds up and helps someone rebuild their set faster.
